The school is affiliated to the Himachal Board of School Education, Dharamshala, and strictly follows the curriculum prescribed by the Board from time to time. The school prescribes textbooks as decided by the Board, which serves as the examining body for Classes V, VIII, IX and X.
Two types of assessments are conducted during the academic year:
Besides summer and winter vacations, the school remains closed on the second Saturday of every month, all Himachal Pradesh gazetted holidays, and two restricted holidays. Lady staff are granted leave on Raksha Bandhan, Bhai Dooj, and Karva Chauth.
