Situated at the foothills of the Shivalik range of Himalayas near the serene town of Kasauli, Nirmal Chintamani School began its journey on 18 July 1984 with a humble yet powerful mission — to provide education to children of laborers who could not access schooling.
Founded by Smt. Nirmal Devi, the school started with just four rooms and has grown into a well-established institution offering education up to the Secondary Level. It is affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
With a strong vision of providing quality and holistic education, the school continues to uplift underprivileged communities. Managed by the Chintamani Foundation, it now serves over 300+ students and aims to expand further in the near future.

Nirmal Chintamani Public School is a legacy of vision and dedication, started by Late Shri Chintamani Ji in 1984. He dreamed of a futuristic Himachal Pradesh where clean industrialization would create opportunities for employment, educational development, and uplift living standards.
"The three strict, firm but loving elder brothers & bhabhi's of Shri Chintamani Ji were encouraged to study and attain one of the first Master's Degrees in Economics from Lahore, with distinction. His vision was inspired by the development he witnessed and his desire to uplift Himachal."
